The 2025 edition, the 8th in the series, confirmed this momentum by attracting more than 130,000 visitors and hosting over 2,200 exhibitors from across the global healthcare ecosystem.
Organized by Tahaluf in partnership with Informa and supported by the Saudi Ministry of Health and the Government of Saudi Arabia, the event has positioned itself as the leading healthcare exhibition of the GCC region.
Bringing together policymakers, health leaders, innovators, and technology companies, GHE serves as a central platform to showcase the transformation of healthcare systems across the Gulf, from hospital infrastructure and digital health to AI-driven medicine and biotechnology.

A significant portion of the announced investments focused on expanding healthcare infrastructure. More than $8.4 billion was committed to the development of new hospitals and healthcare facilities across the Kingdom, including major expansion plans by regional healthcare groups. In parallel, Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen its position as a regional hub for life sciences and pharmaceutical manufacturing, with over $625 million dedicated to the localization of biopharmaceutical production and medical technologies through partnerships with global companies such as Sanofi, Pfizer, and MSD.
The exhibition also highlighted the rapid growth of Saudi Arabia’s health innovation ecosystem. More than $3.2 billion was committed to venture capital and strategic investment funds aimed at accelerating research, digital health innovation, and biotechnology development. Together, these announcements illustrate the Kingdom’s ambition not only to expand healthcare capacity but also to build a globally competitive, innovation-driven health ecosystem that integrates infrastructure, life sciences, and advanced technologies.
