Telemedicine is useful during wars

Our CEO, Dr Robin Vicken Ohannessian MD MPH PhD, was an invited speaker at the 9th Forum International de la Santé Numérique. This event was organized by Profesor Aziz EL MATRI and supported by International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISFTEH). This prestigious event brought together global leaders and innovators in digital health.

Dr. Ohannessian gave an insightful presentation on the role of telemedicine during conflicts and wars. He highlighted how telemedicine and eHealth solutions can provide critical medical support and continuity of care when traditional healthcare systems are disrupted. The examples of Syria, Ukraine, Gaza, and Artsakh were shared with the audience. Examples from Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey were also presented during the same session by Najeeb AL-SHORBAJI, Engin Onan and Hicham El Achgar.
