In partnership with WHO Country office in Georgia and the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, and as part of an EU-funded project, we brought together 30 rural doctors from across the country for a two-day, hands-on workshop focused on transforming primary healthcare delivery through telemedicine.
Our capacity-building sessions focused on:
✅ Designing and evaluating telemedicine projects
✅ Building leadership in digital health
✅ Applying telemedicine tools in real-life primary care settings
✅ Strengthening peer-to-peer learning through clinical case discussions
Thanks to the broader initiative, 60 rural clinics in Georgia are now equipped with modern telemedicine systems bringing specialized care closer to the people who need it most.
We’re honored to support WHO and its United Nations partners in reshaping rural healthcare access and grateful to all the committed doctors who are driving this transformation on the ground.
A teamwork efforts to train primary care doctors of Georgia
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this national telemedicine training in Georgia possible. After several months of dedicated work, we trained 100+ primary healthcare doctors from across the country equipping them with the skills, tools, and confidence to bring telemedicine into real-world clinical practice.
The hybrid national scale model is working and we’re ready to replicate it in Europe or any other country.
