Our story
Vickino was born in 2024 in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia and originates from the 10-year global journey in health innovation from our founder and CEO Dr Robin Ohannessian started in 2015 in France.
2015
A journey started in France
Dr Ohannessian created his first consulting company called Télémédecine 360 in France with a mission to drive adoption of telehealth supporting healthcare providers and startups.
2018
International expansion
Dr Ohannessian started to collaborate with VC-back companies in Europe ($700M+ raised) and Ministries of Health for national-scale telehealth projects in the Middle-East.
2020
Global recognition
Dr Ohannessian became a recognized expert by the United Nations (UN) and World Health Organization (WHO) amidst the Covid-19 pandemic with projects for LMICs in Asia-Pacific and Africa.
2024
Time for transformation
As AI, digital health and biotech revolutions are disrupting healthcare, Dr Ohannessian wished to better promote and support health innovation ecosystems. Vickino was born.
2023
Major scientific impact
Dr Ohannessian publication related to telemedicine and COVID-19 became one of the most-ever cited (1000+) article in telehealth and he published one of the largest telehealth study.
2022
Further reach
Dr Ohannessian advised sovereign wealth funds and investors, provided several training courses and started to expand his activities in CIS countries including Georgia and Armenia.

Our company is led by renowned public health expert Dr Robin Ohannessian, MD MPH PhD. Our founder is a medical doctor specialized in public health who graduated from France. He owns a Master of Public Health dedicated to health policies and interventions and a PhD doctorate degree in neurosciences on the use of telemedicine for stroke management or telestroke.
We promote in our company the following values: strong expertise, innovation driven, science powered, tailored solutions, sincere communication and promoting growth.
